about cgp

It began with Howling Moon, Inc. While searching for a simple decal at a local hardware store to put on the side of an old wooden soda crate, my dad came across a picture of a wolf howling at the moon. Howling Moon Soda was born that day, and carried on to encompass a large video library, a successful stationery enterprise, and numerous programming ventures.
Later, Howling Moon, Inc. became the parent of such businesses as SCR, Inc., a creation of mine that morphed into Clowning Glory, and Pod, Inc., a stationery "company" run by three young kids, with delightfully fresh cards and posters!
CGP came about in the early days of the web, as a way to show off what I'd taught myself and learned, and how I'd helped my friends and family make their first forays onto the internet. Now that I'm learning more, I'm excited to see it develop!

about me

Hi, I'm Sarah!
Way back in the early days (2001!) I set out to learn what I could about the web to put my own views and opinions out there, making fansites and places for my friends to share and save their memories. I helped my family learn the basics at the beginning well enough to grow their own business and career into the web. I feel proud of those meager beginnings, copying and pasting html into a notepad file and making things of it.
The personal page I created for myself before the popularity of livejournal and blogs and the like is a bit of a time capsule, but you're welcome to visit.
