Welcome to TNA Kimpact's contribution to WF's 2006 Royal Rumble. We are here to crown the first TNA title holders. This bout is for the Tag Team championship. A four way elimination match.

This match is also the in ring debut of Shane Douglas. It should be noted that Shane owns the contract of his tag partner, The Sandman. Sting also teams up again with Jeff Jarret since making his first TNA appearance at the last Kimpact. One has to wonder what Jeff Jarrett did to get Sting on his side. AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy have a victory as a tag team already under their hats. They beat Jarrett and "Fallen Angel" all the way back at the second episode of Kimpact. Ron Killings and Konnan are looking to win the tag titles tonight and then defend them against AMW at Unbreakable.

Ron Killings starts the match for his team. No one else has stepped up to start this match against him. He looks to Jarrett and Sting. He looks to Shane and Sandman. Killings turns around and is face to face with Jeff Hardy. Hardy and Killings run the ropes from opposite sides. Killings drops down, Jeff Hardy leapfrogs over him, Hardy rebounds and ducks a jumping side kick ("The Truth Serum"). Hardy again rebounds off the ropes and Killings catches him with a back elbow. Killings does a split, he pops up and blasts Hardy with an axe kick to the back off the head. Killings picks Hardy up in a suplex, Hardy slides over the back of Killings. He tries for the Reverse of Fate. Killings turns it into a Fisherman's buster suplex. "The Truth" covers Jeff Hardy and gets a 2 count. Killing attempts "The Truth Teller"(Rock Bottom). Hardy blocks it with a pair of back elbows. Hardy hits a sitdown jawbreaker. Hardy hits the Side Effect on Killings. Hardy climbs the turnbuckle. Killings gets to his feet and pushes Hardy off. Jeff Hardy spills to the floor. Killings charges and flys onto Hardy with a corkscrew crossbody block. Ron and Hardy both get to their feet. Sting climbs the turnbuckle. He leaps to the outside onto Killings and Hardy. Konnan takes to the air with a moonsault. He takes out the three of them. AJ takes a head of steam and leaps with a halo taking out Sting, Konnan, Jeff Hardy and Ron Killings. Sting is the first to his feet. He tosses Hardy into the ring to a waiting Jeff Jarrett. He puts the boots to Hardy. Killings gets back into the ring. He pulls Jarrett off of Hardy. Sting sneaks up behind Killings and hits the Scorpion Deathdrop. The ref sends Jarrett and Sting back to their corner. Hardy scores with the Twist of Fate on Killings. Hardy makes the tag to The Sandman. Sandman powers Killings down with a clothesline. Sandman hits a powerslam. Sandman uses the ropes to hit a slingshot suplex onto Killings. Sandman tags in Shane Douglas and holds him as Douglas gets in a free kick. Douglas with a gut wrench suplex. He hooks the leg. 1, 2, shoulder up. Douglas hits a double underhook suplex into a backbreaker. Douglas tries a back suplex on Killings. Killings flips out of it. Killings tries for a jumping side kick on Douglas, Shane ducks. "The Truth's" leg gets caught on the top rope. Douglas kicks Killings' leg out from underneath him. Jeff Jarrett is shouting at Shane Douglas to tag him in. Jarrett is telling Shane he can eliminate Killings and Konnan by putting the figure four on "The Truth". While Douglas is distracted Killings makes the tag to Konnan. Konnan rolls Shane Douglas up from behind. 1,2,3.

Shane Douglas and Sandman have been eliminated.

Konnan has just beat a former ECW World Champion. Sting enters the ring and right away blasts Konnan with a spear. Sting blasts Konnan with a pair of left arm lariats. Sting picks Konnan up. He nails a spinning Rock Bottom! Sting tries for a Scorpion Deathdrop, Konnan reverses it into a vertical suplex. He hits two more to make it a triple vertical. Konnan catches Sting with a rolling clothesline. Konnan powers Sting down with a body slam. Konnan takes to the air with a moonsault onto Sting. 1,2 Sting gets the shoulder up. Konnan powers Sting down with a powerbomb. Konnan tries to whip Sting into the corner. Sting reverses and Konnan goes into the corner. Sting misses the Stinger Splash. Konnan makes the tag to Ron Killings. Killings with a flying forearm. Sting ducks a clothesline and catches Killings with a left arm lariat. Sting slaps on the Scorpion Deathlock. Killings' leg has already been injured in this match. Killings is holding on. He is trying to reach for the ropes. Killings makes it to the ropes but Jeff Jarrett has the ref distracted. Sting pulls Killings back to the middle of the ring. He is pulling back. Konnan jumps in the ring and catches Sting with a facejam. Killings gets back to his feet. He blasts Sting with an axe kick to the back of the head. Cover, 1, 2, Sting barely kicks out. Sting ducks the "Truth Serum" (jumping side kick) but Killings catches him with the "Truth Teller". Killings makes the cover. 1, 2, 3.

Sting and Jeff Jarrett have been eliminated.

AJ Styles enters the ring for his team. He quickly rolls Killings up. 1,2, Killings kicks out. Killings catches AJ with a back elbow. He powers AJ down with a spinning clothesline. Killings with a Samoan drop. Killings leapfrogs over AJ. AJ springboards with an inverted DDT. He calls that the "Styling DDT." Cover on Killings. 1, 2, he kicks out. AJ makes the tag to Jeff Hardy. Hardy takes Killings down with a dragon leg whip. Wait just a second. Jeff Jarrett and Sting have come back down to ringside. Sting has the ref distracted. Jeff Jarrett just blasted Konnan with a guitar shot. AJ Styles goes after Sting. He chases Sting back to the locker room. The ref is checking on Konnan. Jarrett grab a chair. He slides into the ring. He swings it right into Killings' hurt leg. Jarrett escapes through the crowd. AJ returns to ringside. Hardy locks in the Spineline on Killings. Killings is in tremendous pain. He is stretching to reach for the ropes. He can't make it. Killings won't tap. The ref asks him if he wants to submit. Killings says "No." Hardy pulls back. Killings taps out. This match is over.

Winner and new TNA Tag Team Champions, Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles!

"Mr. TNA" AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy have won the TNA Tag Team titles. Kimpact has crowned it's first champions. Fireworks are going off in the Asylum. Officials have come down to check on Ron Killings and Konnan. AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy are celebrating in the crowd with their fans.
