12 FEBRUARY 2006 : Episode 8

Breaking news! At WF's Royal Rumble 2006 we crowned the first TNA title holders. Jeff Hardy and "Mr. TNA" AJ Styles won a fatal four way elimination tag match to capture the Tag Team titles. In that match Shane Douglas made his in ring debut. Konnan and Ron Killings put in an ironmen-like performance eliminating Jeff Jarrett and Sting as well as Shane Douglas and The Sandman. Sting and Jeff Jarrett returned to ringside after they were eliminated and had a hand in costing "The Truth" and Konnan the victory and the titles.

And here come the Tag Team champions. They asked for this time after winning the titles at the Rumble. Jeff Hardy speaks.

"Nine pounds. That's how much this title weighs. Do you have any idea how hard this thing is to get through airport security? But all that hassle is worth it. AJ and I made history at the WF Royal Rumble. We are the first titleholders in TNA."

"Yes, we are, Jeff. It had to have been the biggest surprise in wrestling history. I mean, on the last Kimpact TNA didn't even have any titles. This is unprecedented. And to think we survived three of TNA's best...."

AJ Styles is cut off by the entrance of Ron "The Truth" Killings and Konnan. Konnan has something on his mind.

"Yo pretty boy. Er, boys. You didn't survive anything. Ronnie and I beat two out of the other three teams in the match. You got lucky Sting and Jeff Jarrett cost us the match. The belts you are holding belong to us and you know it."

Hardy responds.

"Don't belong to us? Really? I distinctly remember making Ron Killings tap out."

"The Truth" speaks.

"Let me cut you off right there. Yes, I tapped. Thanks only to Jeff Jarrett and his guitar. I wish Konnan and myself did not have a match already tonight. I would love to take you on, one on one. Or even a tag match for the titles."

AJ interjects.

"I would love nothing more to defend our new belts against you two tonight. Or at Unbreakable. But that can't happen. Jeff has Abyss and I go toe to toe with Elix Skipper. Oh, I almost forgot, you two have to face America's Most Wanted."

Killings comments.

"It's funny you mention Unbreakable. It's funny you mention our match with AMW. Because there's something I forgot to tell you. That match with America's Most Wanted is a number one contender match for the Tag Team titles!"

That is huge news. AJ and Hardy look stunned. They probably figured they had 30 days to defend the titles. But that is not the case. In one night the course of TNA Kimpact has changed. Wrestling Fig's Royal Rumble has shaken the foundation for professional wrestling. Ron Killings referred to a match taking place tonight. The main event for tonight is a six man tag. "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Ron "The Truth" Killings and Konnan will face Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted.

It is the last stop before the big Unbreakable PPV. Let's kick off some in ring action. In the ring is Chris Kanyon. His opponent is the monster Abyss.

Chris Kanyon vs. Abyss

Kanyon fires off numerous shots to Abyss' head. The blows seem to be inflecting no damage. Kanyon winds back another fist. Abyss catches the fist in his hand. Abyss puts pressure on it and brings Kanyon to one knee. Abyss places Kanyon's hand on the mat and stomps on it. Abyss hits a side walk slam. Abyss whips Kanyon hard into the corner. Abyss follows up and nearly takes Kanyon's head off with a powerful clothesline. Abyss with a back suplex. Kanyon ducks a big boot and connects with a beautiful leg lariat. Abyss gets to one knee and Kanyon quickly catches him with a fame-ass-er. Kanyon fires off right hands on Abyss. Big mistake. Abyss blasts Kanyon with a fist that floors him. Abyss once again stomps on Kanyon's hand. Abyss takes Kanyon's hand and is pulling the fingers apart. Abyss tosses Kanyon over the top ropes. Abyss pulls the ring steps apart. Abyss slams the steps on Kanyon's hand. Abyss has been disqualified. Chris Kanyon's hand may be broken. This monster Abyss is unstable. He faces off with one half of the Tag Team champions - Jeff Hardy - at Unbreakable. Will Abyss do to Jeff Hardy what he did to Chris Kanyon? How will Jeff Hardy be able to stop this monster?

We now go to video footage of some sort of training video with The Sandman. He is with Shane Douglas.

"Here we are in a gymnasium in Philadelphia. Sandman, you have the biggest fight of your career waiting for you at Unbreakable. Seeing as I control your contact I want you in top form for your two out of three falls match."

"Shane, I appreciate what you are doing for me. But I don't need this. I know how to make someone bleed."

"Yes. That is true. Raven isn't just "someone". I have hired some local wrestlers to help in this train..."

Suddenly Sandman blasts a local talent with his Kendo stick. The local wrestler is busted open.

"You were saying, Shane?" "Hahaha. Ok you proved your point. You can handle the First Blood part of the match. However, you need to work on your cardio. You have been downing way too many beers."

"Light beers..."

The footage now turns to a road somewhere in Philly. Shane Douglas is riding a bike. Sandman has a rope tied around his waist. The other end is tied to the bike. Sandman is running at full speed. Cheesy 80s movie inspired music swells up. Sandman is running up a flight of steps. Halfway through he stops. He is catching his breath. He lights up a cigarette and takes a puff. He looks up at the rest of the steps. Sandman says "Screw this." and walks back down. Shane Douglas has a quizzical look on his face. He stops Sandman. He tosses Sandman a beer. Sandman drinks it. It seems to have given him the boast he needed to finish running up the steps. Sandman reaches the top. He jumps up and down triumphantly.

"Sandman I'm really proud of you. Let's go get a Philly Cheese-stake, my treat."

"Okay. But doesn't that negate our whole training. Nevermind. I'm hungry. You're driving. You know, I've always hated this town."

Randy Savage paid TNA for this air time. We had a match scheduled but TNA agreed to give Savage this time to perhaps explain why he hasn't paid the $50,000 in fines as stipulated in last week's main event. Savage is in the ring with a mic.

"This is a huge bombshell I'm about to drop on TNA Kimpact. I will explain why I didn't pay these fines. Before I do I would like to have Sting come to the ring. Please. Now."

Sting's music plays. He does not make his entrance. The music stops. Once more the lights and pyro go off but no Sting.

"I expected that. Why? Because Sting is not here tonight. In fact Sting is not Sting. Chris Harris has been portraying Sting."

What!?

"That's right. I have video proof. You see Sting is a close friend of mine. He wouldn't turn his back on me. Let's take a look at my video proof. Last week "Sting" and Jeff Jarrett's manager was James Storm. Sting would never align himself with the likes of James Storm and Jarrett. They used handcuffs last week. An AMW trademark. Chris Harris, as "Sting", used the spear last week. Sting has never done that move before. Chris Harris is left handed, Sting is not. Chris Harris, "as Sting", used several left hands last week. This continued at Wrestling Fig's Royal Rumble. Once again Chris Harris was "Sting". He used a left arm lariat. Chris Harris made the big mistake of using The Catatonic at the Royal Rumble. Chris Harris, as "Sting", came back to ringside and cost Konnan and Ron "The Truth" Killings the Tag Team titles. Everybody knows there is no love lost between America's Most Wanted and Konnan and Ron Killings. They face off at Unbreakable. Chris Harris couldn't help himself but to cost them that match. Chris Harris you committed identity fraud by portraying Sting. You did it not once but twice. TNA management has been informed of this and will be reviewing this situation. I have also talked to Sting, the real Sting, and he said..."

The entrance of AMW and Jeff Jarrett cut off Randy Savage's words. The trio enter the ring and Jeff Jarrett swipes the out of "Macho Man's" hands.

"That is a big accusation to make, Savage. Why is it so hard to believe Sting could side with me? You know what I think? You cooked this whole story up to cover for the fact you couldn't pay those fines."

And with those words Randy Savage fires of a right hand at Jarrett. Harris and Storm leap on Savage and beat him down. Chris Harris and James Storm hit the double team move called the Hart Attack on Randy Savage. Konnan and Killings hit the ring. AMW bail out of the ring. Our six man tag match is underway.

Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Konnan & Ron "The Truth" Killings

Both trios converse back in their corners. Randy Savage looks hurt after that double team move. Storm and Konnan start the match. Konnan slaps on a side headlock. He grinds it deep. Storm tries breaking the hold by pulling Konnan's hair but grabs onto nothing because Konnan is bald. AMW seem thrown off their game by Randy Savage's bombshell about Chris Harris being Sting. Storm breaks out of the headlock with a brutal backdrop suplex. Storm with a perfect vertical suplex on Konnan. Storm slaps on a Camel clutch. Konnan slides backwards out of it and double leg trips Storm. Konnan quickly applies a front face lock. He drives Storm to the mat. Storm gets to his feet. The hold is still locked in. Storm backs Konnan into the corner. He makes the tag to Harris. Konnan doesn't see it. The hold is still locked in. Harris gets into the ring. Harris breaks Konnan's front face lock with a superkick. Harris with a DDT on Konnan. Harris with an atomic drop followed by a clothesline on Konnan. Harris has words with "The Macho Man". Randy Savage swings at Harris but misses. Harris pie-faces Savage. This brings Savage into the ring. With the ref's attention on getting Savage to his corner AMW double team Konnan with several stomps to the head and fists to the face. The ref has Savage contained. James Storm slips out of the ring unnoticed by the ref. Harris with a big boot to Konnan. He once again has words with Savage. He is upset over "Macho Man's" claim earlier tonight. Harris turns back to Konnan right into an enziguri. Konnan tags in Ron Killings. Chris Harris also makes the tag to Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett doesn't want any part of Killings. He drops from the apron to the floor. He takes a walk toward the locker room. Savage goes after him and tosses him back into the ring right into Ron Killings. Killings attempts the "Truth Teller" Rock Bottom. Jarrett blocks it with an elbow. Jarrett goes for the Stroke, Killings escapes. Jarrett ducks the jumping side kick but turns right into a spinebuster by Killings. Jarrett gets in a low blow to Killings. Cover by Jeff Jarrett. 1, 2, Killings kicks out. Jarrett with an abdominal stretch. He is bad mouthing Randy Savage. Killings gets with a hip toss. He whips Jarrett into the ropes. Jarrett ducks a back elbow. but catches Killings in a sleeper. "Macho Man" comes off the top with a double axe handle to the back of Jarrett. The sleeper is broken. Killings makes the tag to Randy Savage. Savage off the top with the elbow drop. 1, 2, 3. Konnan, Ron "The Truth" Killings and "Macho Man" are your winners. Randy Savage has just beaten Jeff Jarrett before their match at Unbreakable. What a huge victory. Savage just gained a measure of revenge on Jeff Jarrett. America's Most Wanted and Jeff Jarrett are furious.

Hold on a minute. We are getting word something is going on in the back. We follow cameras into AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy's locker room. Oh my goodness. "Fallen Angel" and "Primetime" Elix Skipper have attacked AJ Styles. They are beating him down. Daniels throws AJ face first into a locker. Skipper just blasted AJ with a chair. Where is Jeff Hardy? Skipper with a roundhouse spin kick. "See you at Unbreakable." he says to AJ Styles. "He doesn't look like "Mr. TNA" to me, Elix." Daniels says. We are out of time. We need officials to break this up. AJ needs medical attention. Catch you next time for Unbreakable!
